B&B Kosovo

Stayed two nights here in this cheap and cheerful gaff. Very handy for town and the strip and the place doubles as a bar and restaurant. Clean and modern though the room could have done with air con. Extremely friendly staff and locals in the bar made this a great experience.

Nice friendly place

There are not so many options in Novi Pazar so the B&B Kosovo was a good choice as it's just 5/10 mins walking from the city center. I stepped in without reservation and I got a room (double for single use) for 15€ (instead of 20€ as requested through Booking), including the breakfast. The owner and staff doesn't speak English but they were pretty helpful. 
The rooms have private and direct access from the back side of kafana (means the restaurant which is part of the building) so you can just organize yourself as you want once you get the keys. 
My room (number 6) was large with a huge bathroom, however the bathroom as in most of the towns around south Serbia and Kosovo are not heated so it was freezing being beg of December. The room however was really warm even if a bit smelly (of smoke I guess). Windows were facing the main road but there was no noise inside the room.
Novi Pazar is a strange city as very few tourists get here. Being winter time I must admit it was pretty depressing, probably it'd be better in spring or summer. 
In any case, the B&B is a good option for a short stay. 
Just FYI as the main sites are far from the town (Sopocani Monastery and Djurdjevi Stupovi) and there is no public transportation to reach them, I contracted a taxi which brought me to both location for 2200 dinars (around 18€) 

Simple B&B close to the center

This hotel was ideal for my stop over coming into Serbia from Montenegro. The town is like so many you find in Turkey and I doubt there were many tourists, which added to its appeal. The hotel offered parking, wifi worked for me the entire time, the bathroom was huge and all in all Kosovo B&B did what I required.

A good spot to stay for the night

Overall experience was GOOD.
The owner and staff are friendly, the FOOD served for breakfast IS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD, rooms are comfortable.

The reason for no more stars are:
a) Location on a very busy road, transit street
b) The carpet and utilities in room were in bad condition

Hospitality, good food, value-for-money

I stayed one night. Two main issues: the fact that they did not have air conditioning in the rooms (and in July this was a huge problem) and the fact that my room was located just above the restaurant, and I could not open the windows because of the cigarette smoke that was coming from outside. Breakfast was ok, room was reasonably cheap, but I would definitely not stay here another time because of the air conditioning issue

Rooms without AC, not at all a pleasant experience

It is a good location to explore the city and it has a nice restaurant with good goulash and proscuito. Room number 5 was inside the building and very dark, but it was nice to sit on their terrace.  Taxi is nextdoor and they wil help you with it although they speak hardly any English. But very nice!
