Arriving around noon, I was personally welcomed by Executive Sous Chef Samir, setting the tone for a thoughtful stay. The welcome drink while waiting for the room was a simple but meaningful gesture. I truly appreciate the suite upgrade facing the Haram — a beautiful layout with a separate living area, walk‑in wardrobe, spacious bath, and a large, well‑lit bedroom. The welcome amenities of fruits, chocolates, and sweet bites were a lovely touch. Breakfast at the Level 1 coffee house was decent, with ample seating and a dedicated Honors section. The team was attentive, friendly, and efficient. The EFL Lounge delivered strong daily offerings — afternoon bites like pasta, pizza, and pastries, followed by a surprisingly solid dinner rotation featuring Arab rice, beef, chicken, soups, cakes, and pastries. The dinner spread was genuinely impressive, and the EFL team remained consistently helpful and warm. A special thank you again to Chef Samir and his team for the surprise “nasi campur” lunch — white rice, soup, beef, fish, and vegetables — beautifully prepared and flavourful. Alhamdulillah, it was a comforting, heartfelt meal. Access to the Haram was seamless via the side escalator, with a short walk to Gates 63–74, making ibadah easy and convenient. With shops and eateries nearby, the location works well for those planning umrah and ziarah sambil beribadah. Overall, we had a wonderful time in Makkah. Thank you for the superb hospitality.
