Kino Hostel Na Pushkinskoy

Here was very pleasantly surprised by the fact, that there are services here that I have not experienced anywhere in my travels around the world.

Let's summarize it in a few points

1. Check in after 2 pm and check out by 12 (classic)

2. When you check in, you have to give the classic proof of identity, plus show the Russian visas for registration to the authorities.

3. Here you will receive an electronic access card, both for the roo

The entire stay was great. It is located next to the main train station. Walking to the major attractions can take around 30-40 minutes but it does not bother me that much. The personal were friendly but it would be better if they could improve their communication skills so that they can communicate better with their guests who are here for tourism. Quite good, clean, comfortable place. I stayed in a single room for 3 days. It was all good.

People were nice, kino(common area) was cool. You can make tea or coffee in kitchen or kino.

I stayed just next to common room. There was some noise. High volume sound usually doesn't affect me, so it was OK for me but maybe for someone that could be bad. But no noise after 12pm

1. It is a few minutes' walk from the metro station on Line 1 and Line 5, and two stops from the high-speed train station. There are also bus stops nearby, and Nevsky Prospect is about a 20-minute walk away.

3. Hot water available 24 hours a day.

4. The receptionist can speak English and communicate easily.

The hostel has the advantage of being situated near Viciebski Railway Station and the underground, which saves a good amount of time traversing the city and allows to move in within around 20-30 minutes of arrival

The accomodation is a capsule bunk bed in a 8-person room. Inside the bunk, you can expect a small, keycard-secured locker and a tiny shelf just above your head. The bunk can be closed off by curtains, so privacy is not an issue.

The front desk is very welcoming, the room is clean and the enthusiastic staff will help you prepare everything, and the living room is also bright. There is a lockable cabinet on the bed, and there is a separate wardrobe in the room for you. It is the best youth hostel I have ever stayed in. I will definitely book it next time if I have the chance

I love this place so much. Nice roommates, kind staff, wonderful movie activities (although unfortunately I don’t speak Russian I can’t understand at all😂)

For bathroom it’s always clean.

And, it offers water to drink, super.

Near the metro.

Spacious for one room.

There’s a cafe at the corner I went there for breakfast every morning.

The whole place is pretty nice with Free coffee provided & good hygiene conditions, including clean linen, toilet, bathroom, kitchen, and even common area.

The staff is helpful.

Not far away from the city center with around 35~45 mins walk or 20 mins bus/metro to there.

10 mins close to train terminal.

I would say this is a very cost-effective hostel and I would definitely come here next time if I stay in St. Petersburg.

Regular cleaning

Always good!!!!!! All people in here are super nice! That’s why I booked this hotel 4 times when I stayed in St. Petersburg. (I switched a hostel during that time, but the guest I met at another hostel is racist and don’t know what is respect and privacy, and I cannot stay there and had to leave at midnight…)
