The position, right in the centre, but up a quiet side street, near the main bus station (n.b. there are two central bus stations in Targu Mures), was exactly what I wanted. Found I'd been given a huge room (with a sitting room part and a bedroom part). Excellent breakfast (mushroom omelet). Helpful, friendly, English speaking people on the front desk who ordered taxis, gave directions, arranged for my washing to be done, and made sure I didn't go to the wrong bus station when I left. Slept like a log. (For people arriving in a car, I don't think parking would be a problem, especially if you say beforehand you'll need somewhere to park.)
