Quiet location, clean, cozy rooms. City center is about 15 minutes walk, but you can also take a taxi. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Parking is free on the street in the front of the hotel. Breakfast is of good quality.

Nice location and the owners are very helpful and nice. The location is far from city centre but there is free parking space and it's situated on a relativly  quiet boulevard. Breakfast is good also. Rooms are small but it's a perfect place to stay if you are passing by or to stay 2-3 days.

I visit Timisoara once a year. On my last five visits I've stayed at Casa Leone. Upon entering the grounds you find yourself in a small garden setting with a small cafe style group of tables and chairs for relaxing and chatting. The rooms aren't big but are very comfortable       To my pleasant surprise, the rooms are nice and warm in the winter time. Unlike even some of the much more expensive hotels that I've stayed at in Europe. And I've never had any issues with the hot water running out even when the place is fully booked. You can schedule you're breakfast anytime between 7:30am and 10:00am. Not too fancy but just right. I would choose to stay here over many of the upscale hotels in the area. The price is very reasonable. The staff/owner is very courteous. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The only thing is that there isn't an elevator. But that only adds to its charm. And the building is only two stories so it isn't a problem unless you have a lot of luggage. 

Owners are very kind and helpful, and speak many languages.
Rooms are nice, wide and clean.
A good breakfast is included and served in the patio under the trees shadow and a parrot by side.

City center is fifteen minutes away on foot, or 2 euros (less than 10 lei) by taxi.

The pension is clean, pretty and the staff is very nice.
Everything is basic, breakfast the same every day (not very good but enough).
Cons:
- the heat did not work despite the fact that it was cold outside (10 degrees Celsius at night and 14-16 during the day)
- the room with no natural light
- no elevator,  too many stairs

DARK AND COLD ROOM

Location is far from the town centre but the taxi is cheap. Rooms are rather small and there are different buildings around a small patio, everything seems crammed and added after. There are a lot of little corridors and passages, ecclectic objects, paintings, decorations and even two parrots. Breakfast is in the patio, you have to book the hour because it is not too much space. Basic breakfast, rather poor as it comes on a plate for each tourist. Free parking in the street.

Too crammed

I was very disappointed by this hotel. When we arrived at 11 the receptionist told us that our rooms would be ready by 3 PM, however they were ready only at 4 PM. Also we had booked two twin rooms and one family, however they gave us two family rooms and one twin.
The room was not clean and the bathroom was clearly not disinfected. Also the glasses on the table were clearly not clean as they had stains inside and water from the previous guests.
Would not visit again.
