Wonderful people, great atmosphere, The best place to stay if you want to feel like your at home. Very friendly staff it was a real pleasure to stay here and very quiet. I will stay here every time i visit Brasov. Thanks Monica for a wonderful time.

I feel very relaxed and very well in this nice place..

We stayed at Pension Monik for two nights and were very happy with our accommodation. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. After reading a previous negative review, I can honestly say that we had a very different experience. The only fault is the location is not in the centre of town so it might not be ideal if you are only in Brasov for one night or you are not an avid walker! Having said that, we walked into Brasov old town twice and it only took about 20-25 minutes.  Overall, we were more than satisfied with this hotel and would be happy to recommend it.

Pension Monik - lovely!

Nice

Great Home away from Home!

Stayed in for 1 night.
PROS:
- very clean.

CONS:
- extremely small bathrooms.
- the project is 100% made WITHOUT ANY professional architect and technical assistance. Too many technical mistakes.
- The toilet in our bathroom was unusable because of it's positioning. You couldn't fit your legs because of the sink and you touched the radiator, ouch... it was like 100 degrees C.  
- we had to change rooms because we were given the apartment which had really lousy mattresses and in our opinion horrible furniture.
- the lady from the reception was quite nice but the owner lady (we had motives to think that's what she was) was dull and bored.
- very expensive for what it offers and you get NO RECEIPT OR INVOICE. I wonder why :))
- NO CREDIT CARD PAYMENT at night :)) I wanted to pay with my credit card at 21:30 pm on my arrival and the answer was "The card does not work at this hour" :) WHAT?! Anyway.
- the rooms have no hallway when you enter (like you would expect a normal hotel/motel room to have) therefor all the noise from the staircase/corridor it's right in your head. The walls are really thin, they didn't use any sound proofing. You can hear everything, even from the upper rooms through the ceiling. So if you tend to wake up at the tiniest noise you probably won't sleep well here.

All in all, you can find better for sure. Price wise, service wise and location wise. 
Not going back for sure!

Ugly and mediocre but at least very clean.

It is a nice pension, with clean room (but not so big). The owners are very friendly and helpfull. It is not close to the city center if you want to walk, but with the car you can be very fast there. If you are not searching an expensive hotel, but nice and clean, this pension is the answer
