2 Santurce 1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom Apt

I’ve been to Puerto Rico 3 times and stayed at a hotel so for my 4th trip, I decided to try out staying at an apartment for the experience. My husband and I stayed here for 6 days and we have a very mixed review. Pros: AC system was great, clean bedding and furniture, safe neighborhood, secure outside gate, bright lighting, dark curtains, microwave and host replied relatively quick.Cons: so many ANTS crawling around! Luckily they were ants so I knew they’re harmless but still.. I was very uncomfortable knowing I’m sleeping with these ants crawling around on the wall next to me. Also saw a tiny centipede one night in the sink when I went to use the restroom which freaked me out but that was just that one time. They provided only 3 towels for our 6 day trip. I personally use a new towel every time I shower so I was extremely unsatisfied with this. I also asked if they have extra toilet paper on my first day and he replied ‘2 guests used one roll in less than 24 hours?’ to which I said no but I just want to know for the upcoming days. Was told they only provide one roll so my husband went to Walgreens nearby to buy a new roll when we were out. All in all, the place itself is nice but the cons outweighed the pros for me. Sticking to hotels from now on.
