Paszkowka Palace

I can't recommend Palac Paszkowka enough. We had the most perfect wedding weekend surrounded by all of our close friends and family. We chose to hire the whole palace for the entire weekend so that we could have full exclusivity for our wedding and I am so glad we did - the whole event felt special and intimate because it was just us. On the Friday everyone arrived throughout the day having all arrived on different flights from the UK. On the grounds at the back of the palace a buffet BBQ was served for the late afternoon and early evening to welcome everyone - this food was absolutely exquisite and even though we had some fantastic food on the Saturday I think the Friday BBQ was my favourite food of the whole weekend. We had music playing, lawn games and everyone had a nice relaxing evening in the sun. On the Saturday we had the ceremony down by the lake which was beautifully decorated by a local florist, followed by drinks on the lawn where we were greeted with the traditional bread and salt. In the late afternoon we had 4 courses of delicious food seated in the dining room. The party continued until 3am after a further 3 courses of food were served throughout the evening. On the Sunday we had a farewell breakfast as everyone prepared to leave after a fantastic weekend. Jan, the owner and manager, was so laid back and relaxed about the whole event, he made it very easy for us and constantly reassured us that it was going to be brilliant and it was. Jan was timely in his responses to our many questions and was able to signpost us to local florists, DJs etc. which made the process of planning much easier for us. Whatever we wanted to do Jan facilitated. The rooms in the palace are beautiful! the bridal suite was big enough for me and my 4 bridesmaids, hair dresser and make up artist to get ready, and I thoroughly enjoyed having a relaxing jet bath on the morning of the wedding to help relax. The rooms are styled traditionally, in keeping with the look and feel of the palace - if you want modern then this is not for you. The chef did a fantastic job for the whole weekend, including breakfasts, the BBQ and all of the meals and desserts on Saturday - all of the wedding guests have commented on how much they enjoyed the food. If anyone is thinking of Palac Paszkowka for their wedding I would highly recommend it. As long as you like a traditional style with a relaxed atmosphere then this is for you.
