We have just returned from 3 nights at the Metropolitan Boutique Hotel. First of all the location is great if you dont mind a 10 minute walk to the old town square and about 2 minutes to the old Jewish quarter. It's on a side street and we found it very quiet at night. Also felt very safe walking back to the hotel late at night. The hotel was spotlessly clean in all areas. Also very warm during a winter break. Every member of staff we met were polite and well presented. The rooms were immaculate and we were lucky enough to be upgraded. Lovely white bedding and towels. The breakfast was plentiful and served from 0700 til 1100 so plenty of scope for early risers or those who prefer a lay in. The bar was very cosy with a happy hour each day between 1600 and 1800. They arranged airport pick up and drop off which worked perfectly. Check in and out was swift and we felt very welcomed. All in all a fantastic base in a beautiful city. If we ever return, which we hope to, we will absolutely stay at the Metropolitan Boutique Hotel. Well done to all the team.
