Melanesian Hotel and Apartments

As an adventure blogger at world-adventurer.com, I've had a chance to visit many hotels around the world and the Melanesian Hotel stands out as a comfortable choice with a friendly management team. As one of the Coral Sea properties (large chain with hotels all over the country), the Melanesian has many notable features. - Location: Right in town, it is near all the major business or retail locations for a convenient stay. It is also in a quiet and calm area. - Safety: Well managed with security, the hotel takes security seriously. - Rooms: Though quite basic, the rooms are comfortable and clean. Wifi works well in the lobby and restaurant area. - Staff: The highlight of the hotel is the team. From the reception and management to the servers and cleaning crew, everyone was friendly and welcoming. All of my questions were answered and addressed. I was also given many tips as to what to see and do within Lae. The manager was especially friendly and took me for a tour himself of the city. - Pool area and bar: Highly recommended place to sit back and sip on some local beers :) Overall, this is an excellent place to stay if visiting Lae whether for business or leisure!
