Our 2 nights-stay at Franziska B&B was awesome😀! The owners Bridgette and Clark are extremely nice persons and they gave us a very warm welcome, very good recommendations for nearby restaurants and sites to visit. Our bedroom (Ava’ s terrace) had a wonderful view, from our nice balcony, was very spacious and nicely decorated . Every morning the breakfast in the beautiful main sitting room prepared by Bridget was delicious!

The main house was beautifully, warm and charming, and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Our cottage was well appointed and very comfortable. What makes this such a special place is the warmth and friendliness of owner Bridget, who served delicious breakfast each morning in a charming courtyard all overlooking their well landscaped grounds.  Great location in the heart of wine, country and near local restaurants. I highly recommend this place when visiting Dundee.

Brigitte and Clark will go the extra mile to make you feel at home.  From the gourmet breakfasts to the fresh-cut flowers in your suite, you feel the relaxed vibe of understated elegance.  Did I mention the fresh air and mountain views?  This is the perfect place to plan your daytime adventures or to simply rest.

Its innkeepers, Briggite and Clark, were so welcoming from the time we made our reservation, to graciously arranging to allow our arrival a day early, through our entire stay. It is clear that their hearts and souls have been given to creating this amazing property. We stayed in a building that was a few steps from the main house and enjoyed our brief walks through their delightful gardens. Our room was spacious, the bed and bedding were lovely and the bathroom was large and well equipped. The great room of the main property, where breakfast was served, has a wonderful lodge atmosphere. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. In closing, we want to come back to Briggite and Clark, who were so personable and helpful in organizing our visit We wish them the best success as they expand their accomodations and we hope to return soon.

We stayed at the B&B for NYE with several families and had an incredible time. The property and home is stunning, amazing views and thoughtful details everywhere you look. It was so cozy yet spacious with beautiful vaulted ceilings, large fireplace and grand table making it perfect for a big sit down dinner with groups. The owners are the kindest and most gracious people, who went above and beyond to assist us as needed, and made us feel like we were at home. I can’t believe we didn’t know about this place sooner, it’s a must stay for any occasion.

Amazing NYE weekend. Always looking for a place to gather with friends and family this time of year. Franziska Haus was perfect for the all of us. Large main area to be with everyone and private rooms to escape. Friendly hosts always ensuring a comfortable visit!

We stayed in the Katharina’s Cottage room for two nights. The room was stunning and perfectly clean. The tub fit two people. The hosts were friendly and breakfast was delicious and accommodating to our vegetarian diet. 🌱 The location was central to the Newberg, Dundee, McMinnville area. We didn’t do any wineries but there are plenty of other activities to explore. I highly recommend this B and B for anyone!! 😄

My wife and I needed a place to hideout for a few days while she healed from a cold.  Bridgette and Clark were fabulous hosts, offering us their largest room and cooking up scrumptious breakfasts and suggesting daily activities.  The rooms are large and spotless, the gardens are beautiful, and the hosts are friendly, knowledgeable and kind.  I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a friendly and comfortable place to stay!

A friend and I stayed here just one night (unfortunately) about a week ago.  What a beautiful property, Our host and hostess were gracious and friendly.  Our host was very knowledgeable and helpful with food and wine close by, and our hostess prepared a wonderfully delicious breakfast the next morning before we headed out to taste wine.  Our accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting local wineries.  It is a great spot for a family get together.  We will definitely be back.

The guest rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds.  There is a huge room for breakfast and sitting round the fire.  The hosts are friendly and knowledgeable.  The grounds have places to sit and admire the views.  This is a very good place from which to explore the Wilamette valley, especially it's wineries.

Super B &B!!!

Warm and Charming

This is a nice B and B.  Our room Simon's Perch was brand new, and I think the innkeepers need a little more time to finish it completely.  Little stuff was missing, like shampoo and conditioner, and window shades so that the mornings aren't quite so sunny.  

On the plus side, ours was a large room with plenty of space to spread out, and attractive furniture.  The design is good with a nice sized bathroom and a lovely view off the back of the property.   The property is on a quiet road and feels pleasantly removed from the crowded wineries in the valley.  Breakfasts were good if not gourmet.  Overall, a very pleasant stay.
