I am so glad I  found this place, its warm clean, and comfortable, just like home away from home, in fact better, I  don't want to leave. The hosts are both friendly and have gone out of their way to make my stay a pleasant one. My room was lovely with a beautiful view, bed was comfortable  I  slept like a baby, and the breakfast was always so nicely presented with fresh baked bread every morning  my gosh delicious!! Shared bathroom didn't pose a problem either, I would recommend this place anytime  try it, I for  one will be back. Thankyou both for a wonderful stay xx Phyllis  norton-Forbes

Better than home!

As a host, Helen was relaxed and very welcoming. She quickly seemed to understand the things that we would be interested in seeing and gave us helpful directions. We felt more like friends than guests. Our room was very comfortable, and   whilst there are shared bathroom facilities, we were the only guests staying, so we had the run of the house. The nicest thing  was waking up to the smell of fresh bread baking. Lovely breakfast included. We would love to stay again when next in Tauranga area.

Homely stay

A beautiful, peaceful spot, central to almost anywhere. Hosts are so friendly - you feel like you're a friend that's come to visit. Everything laid on: towels & linen, Coffee &Tea in your room, breakfast with stunning home-made bread sliced up nioce and thick, and toasted. You can sit on the deck and relax, there's trees and birds everywhere, it felt like being at home. If 200% was such a thing, this B&B gets it.

Second to none

Where to start. The owners Helen and Geoff have opened there beautiful home to us. Take time to reflect in the beautiful gardens. These couple are armed with local knowledge of everything from the area to buses to eaterys.
I was very lucky to of been upgraded to a queen room with private balcony and amazing views.
The extra added home touches are wonderful theres even magazines in the room.
Awaking to the smell of fresh bread being cooked for your lovely continental breakfast is delightful.
I cannot find any fault and throughly recommend anyone thinking about it to do it.
I thank Helen and Geoff for not only opening there home to me but for the added touches and the ride to the bus station and was sad to leave.


Home away from home

Helen and Doug were great hosts, very welcoming. Lovely room comfortable bed, as we were up a little before the other young couple staying, the shared bathroom worked out well.Home made bread for breakfast was delicious. Helen was very helpful with advice on places to see and where to eat.
