Awesum stay friendly staff we ended up staying 2 nights and we will be back.comfy beds too

Just a pity the bar and restaurant wasn’t open on the days we were there. Staff very helpful.

Room decor dated but very comfortable and very clean. Close to the town centre and plenty of parking. Breakfast excellent and served by a very genial host. Don't expect ambience but a pleasant experience.

Great property. Easy access, comfortable room, all the things we needed for a rest while driving south.

The hospitality and friendly service was excellent. The facilities were clean, tidy, comfortable and spacious. It smelled great and felt lovely.Thank you for a great stay. We totally recommend their services.

We received a warm welcome on arrival at Central Park.  It's in a very quiet area even though not far off the main road. There is off-street parking
Our good-sized unit had a microwave, sink and small fridge.  A washing machine and dryer  are available for guest use in the laundry.
The unit has both heating and cooling.  The bathroom is a good size with shower over the spa bath and heated towel rail. New World supermarket is a short drive away along the main street.

Off the main road so lovely and quite. Our room was very spacious, good sized bathroom and great parking. 
Kitchen area provided microwave with a good selection of teas/coffees. 
There is a pool and gym. We were with a tour group and our meals were provided and we were given very generous portions.

I liked how it was comfy cozy stylish great hosts felt welcoming and one dislike culdnt connect to WiFi no password access in room but had great sleep.

Will stay there again next time I need too. Was a great experience. Place was well laid out and in good condition.
This is a great area to visit and the local knowledge from the owner was extremely useful.

Quiet place to stay

A comfortable place to stay.  Perfect for our needs.  Comfortable beds, adequate kitchenette although would like to have seen more variety in tea choices e.g herbal but this is a minor thing.  Hot fast flowing shower.  Quiet, off the main highway and very close to town.  Friendly welcoming hosts with lots of knowledge about the area.  Would definitely stay again.

Great Overnight Stay

Stayed for two nights, a good welcome from the front desk . 
Room is big with three beds fully fitted kitchen and a big shower and spa bath. So the room is very well equipped. It's clean and has everything you need for a self contained stay 

The beds a bit soft for my taste but is fine and for the cold nights, is fitted with an electric blanket,nice!

For a family its probably good value but for a solo visit i thought a bit expensive. But all in all a quiet comfortable place to stay.

Quiet and comfortable

While this lodge is close to the main highway through town and to the railway, I was aware of neither. The room was spacious and well-appointed including a spa / shower in the bathroom with fantastic water pressure so no waiting around! Although the place initially had a bit of a run-down feeling, that proved to be a red herring - it was actually very comfortable and quiet. The king bed was a bit soft for my liking but then I can sleep comfortably on a plank. I did not avail myself of the restaurant although it appeared to be popular given the number of trucks stopped outside. Appears to be one of only two non-fast-food restaurants in town (the other being the RSA Club, which is a bit harder to find). Overall, I would recommend Central Park.

Quiet premises, good value

We stayed at Central Park Motor Inn, and found the staff to be friendly & courteous. We dined in ate the motel restaurant, and the menu selection was very good, and the drinks list was adequate. The room was clean and tidy. the one issue we had was that it was hot (35'), and I suggest the management invest in fans for each room to cater for future similar events.

Very Good Motel, ideally located, with friendly staff.

We stayed in one of the Units at the bottom by the tennis court. This was very nice indeed, spotless, plenty of room & mainly quiet. All the Staff were very helpful & we were quite happy with our stay.
 The only thing that lets the Motor Inn down a little, is the outside could do with a good clean & tidy up. That said, we would be quite happy to stay again.

Five Night Stay

Short notice booking in Taumaranui, options are limited but plumbed for this motel and quite happy with the result. No prizes for looks or views but otherwise a serviceable and very clean room. Weirdly the vanity doors were coming apart but everything else was v good.

Decent option in the Big T

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with king size bed. Spa bath in room but water didn’t get very hot. Restaurant meals were good.
