Stayed 2 nights for Ed Sheeran concert. Was a good location, but the place was not looked after at all. One of the worst things for me was the fact that there was no worming smoke alarms. It was inside the bedside drawer without even a battery in it!!! Even then, the location of the smoke alarm (when it was on the wall) was in the wrong area. Only reason for 2 stars was our room was decently clean when we arrived. There was mould all in the bathroom, on the blinds and windows. Bed was in a sleepable condition. The rest of it was pretty crap. The sliding door was jammed shut so you really had to pull to open it. Certainly not worth $150 we paid, maybe half that price. As another reviewer said, they obviously dont care about their customers with this type of quality.

Terrabella stay 

Staged photos for Facebook are deceiving! Drove from Taranaki to Auckland for a hospital appointment at nearby Green lane Clinic. Another Motel s booked and said try the one next door booked 2 rooms for three of us  After checking in and paying we were shocked by both the rooms. Shockingly small, dirty, unkempt, very poor amenities, no coffee, tea, milk, paper thin disposable towels, no TV, rusty microwave, dangerous wiring, sticky doors, a shower curtain on my room's outside door, & the light switch on the other side of the room from the door. Really just a shoddy, cheap and nasty place. If we had seen the rooms first we'd have gone elsewhere.  Too tired to go back and complain so unfortunately stayed. Noisy neighbours, next door to both rooms - I think the motel is used as a doss house!  Avoid at all costs. It's like the owners couldn't give a f*&k about the place or their customers. Minus 2 stars.

The Worst Motel Rooms Ever!

This has got to be visited to appreciate just how bad it is . 
I said I’d be late checking in so when I arrived I had to wait for someone to arrive and let me in ... no problem.
The door was really hard to open as I eventually figured that you had to lift it first and then slide.
The smell was pretty bad but I figured it’d go with some ventilation.  The window catches were broken so I wasn’t going to sleep with them open as I was on the ground floor with easy access ... well everywhere except the door. 
Then I noticed the disposable bedding and disposable towel... 1 towel for 3 days .  No mat for shower.
Tried to get hot water in the shower for 15 minutes and gave up.
By then the dirty walls and smells got to me so at about 10pm I called the motel next door and moved out .  I am sure my employer is not going to be impressed with the ‘no refund policy’ 
The motel has 2 stars but I have no idea how they got them as they do not deserve even negative 2 . 
The place needs to be demolished

Atrocious

Where do you start when everything was so bad about this property it should be condemned and removed from being bookable accomodation. The room smelled of something I’ve never smelt before! The furniture was from an op shop, the bed looked like it came from a tip, the bathroom absolutely disgusting, mold ridden, toilet unclean and fleas in the carpet (according to neighbouring room patron).

Every reviewer I have read is correct. Unfortunately TripAdvisor requires a 1 rating or above, but it deserves a minus in every respect.

 I left immediately and reversed my credit card.

Inn of horrors

Oh man where do I start? I was staying with three other people in one their "apartments" and it wasn't cheap ($200/night for the four of us). Our other friends were staying in nicer places for half the price. So here's the list 
1. they don't seem to know what house keeping is. I think our room got cleaned 1 day out of our 8 night stay. The floor wasn't vacuumed and the bin wasn't emptied, we did somehow get 4 new towel each day and occasionally a new bath mat. This resulted in a argument of text message between the lady who booked the room for us, with things being said like "you make the sheets dirty every day". Like mate all we want is out bed made because we won't be back till 11pm. 
2. The beds them selves. My friend had a rock hard bed whilst mine was so soft I'm pretty sure a water bed has more support. I don't even want to think about how old the beds were.
3. The draw in the bedroom with two singles would not close without two of us closing it and the wardrobe didn't have particularly good coat hangers. Not something I'd normally complain about but may as well add it to the list. 
4. The bathroom cold tap was broken and you needed two hands to turn it on. One to hold it steady and the other to turn it. Pretty sure the toilet wasn't flushing properly either. 
5. We were only given 1.5 rolls of toilet paper (of poor quality) between 4 people and ran out a couple times. 
6. the room didn't look like the pictures we'd seen either. We were also told there was a laundry for guest to use, which there wasn't.
7. The TV broke on several occasions and its in a very precarious position. I think I nearly ran into it every time I got out of the bathroom. 
8. the flooring of the shower was a slippery stainless still flooring and it didn't drain properly. There was a sign saying a mat could be requested from reception but it should've just been supplied. 
9. there were several holes in the wall throughout the room that had just been sticky taped over. 
10. The steps to the second floor were dodgy as. Especially the second step, which I ended up taking two steps at a time to avoid or jumping off the third step because every time I stepped on it I though it was going to fall off. 

The only good things were the location to the show ground and the wifi that sometimes worked. Definitely won't be staying here when I'm back in 2019.

I should've turned around when I saw them literally airing dirty laundry in the carpark
Not only is the room appalling but it is unsanitary and worse still; unsafe. They've removed the smoke alarm and the front door jams. When I returned from dinner I had to get the hotel staff to open my door by levering it with a hammer. It took 2 of them. And they said it was a known issue. I'm booked for two nights but checking out tomorrow. 

Horrible and disgusted

This motel is dirty, not maintained and run by incompetent, rude staff. An one star review is to high, you couldn't pay me to stay here again. This place should not be able to operate as commercial accommodation.
