Stayed in 1-bed apartment for 2 nights over August bank holiday. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, fans were provided to combat the summer heat, and we had a balcony to the front and rear for those smokers of the group. Kitchen contained everything you needed, and breakfast was brought each evening for the following day, made up of fresh breads, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit etc. My only complaint on the apartment was the size of the bathroom, literally a cubby hole with a shower and toilet in it, no sink, so get ready to use the kitchen sink to wash your hands and brush your teeth! Definitely not for those who suffer a fear of small spaces! Apartment was 5 minutes on foot from leidseplein square so ideal for us as a group of friends. The host (sorry forgot his name) was polite and very helpful and quick to offer advice on the local area. Will definitely be returning to Amsterdam and I wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again. Oh I agree with other reviews, the exchange rate is pretty poor when you come to paying.
