Great location, friendly vibes, and comfortable stay! I stayed at St Christopher’s at The Winston for my first hostel experience ever — and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk from both Amsterdam Central Station and Dam Square, which made it super easy to explore all the main landmarks on foot. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The bar and restaurant downstairs had a great atmosphere and decent food and drinks, which made socializing super easy. The vibe was friendly and felt very safe, especially for solo travelers. Just keep in mind — like most hostels in Amsterdam — it’s not the quietest place, so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. I stayed in a dorm with beds that had individual charging outlets, reading lights, and privacy curtains — super comfy. There was also an ensuite bathroom and shower, which made everything really convenient. The breakfast was actually pretty good for the price, with enough variety to start the day right. All in all, I had a great experience, and I’d totally recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and central place to stay in Amsterdam
