An absolutly paradise. Everything was perfect. The personal where very attentive Diner and Breakfast deliciious. When we are ever coming back to Namibië we will certainly stay here again. Your place is one to remember. We will never foget the monkeys. The fireplace and your kindness

Perfect

The lodge is no longer the newest but impresses with its fantastic location directly at the Kwando River, the solitude, and the very personal warm service. We had amazing game drives with our guide Gift who did everything to explain us the wildlife. The lodge is the only one directly located in the Mudumu National Park which makes it so unique. We had Elephants directly in the lodge: but no worries ... you are always guided to your room when it is night time.... Africa pure....Best experience on our trip to the Zambezi Area. Absolutely fantastic location which impresses with its unique location and seclusion. Pure Africa.

John and Sidney and their team were absolutely amazing. We travelled with two girls (16 and 22), and they were both so attentive and took such good care of them and their quirky needs. Even in the off season we saw amazing wildlife both on game drives and river safaris. The food was varied and fantastic. We loved the different napkin animals. The lodge was great, with wildlife wandering around during the day (yes there were some bugs, but it is Africa). I highly recommend the lodge as a place to stay, and John and his team as people to look after you

Annette welcome is warm and sincere! The lodge is very comfortable, elegant and original without not useful excess of luxury.

Great place. Excellent food, the Beef Wellington was exceptional. Very comfortable accommodation. The noises at night are animals 10 feet away from your bungalow. And an elephant makes a lot of noise ...and dung!!

Gin Tonic and Sunsets

What a wonderful lodge with wonderful people. Management couldn't do enough for us and the staff had such beautiful smiles. Again wildlife a bit difficult to find although we did see another 3 sitatunga but again no decent photos. Kennedy was our first guide, a really nice guy but likes to follow the same roads and stop at the same places and tell the same stories with pretty much the same results, so Annetta, the manager changed my guide for the last day and we went to a different part of the park. Still didn't see a lot of game, but did get some fantastic photos of Roan antelope.

6th and final stage of our latest trip to Africa

The beautiful bush setting, wildlife all around the private cabins.
Bathroom good hot shower all bathroom accessories, very comfortable bed.No hairdryer due to the limited amount of battery power in the cabin.
Good wholesome food, service with a friendly smile and nothing was any trouble. Charging room your electrical appliances.
Hippos at your doorstep, monkeys,  Lions, Kudus warthogs roam the bush.  Escorted back to your cabin in the evening as you are in the national park and wild animals are roaming
It is a bird watchers paradise,
no free WIFI but could be purchased,

Wilderness in the Wild

We were only 2 couple in the lodge, which is in the middle of the national park. Close to the river, you can hear and see hippos, monkeys and even elephants on the hotel ground. 
The food and service are great, as well as the activities.
The room, especially bathroom might need a bi of TLC

Lianshulu is located in the Zambeze region of Namibia on Kwando River bordering Botswana in Mudumu National Park. The lodge is beautifully situated on the river bank and the open air lounges and dining areas offer superb views and a feeling of oneness with the surroundings. I would characterize our room as minimalist compared to other lodges where we stayed on this trip. There was no fan but the windows and doors had screens that provided some cooling air at night. It was quite a way away from the main lodge and we experienced considerable animal traffic outside each night which added a bit of excitement to our stay. Breakfast was adequate and dinners were nothing fancy but quite good. The staff and management were consistently friendly and helpful as were the guides. We booked one game drive and one river cruise at Lianshulu. The
 game drive was disappointing as we didn’t see nearly as many animals as we had seen in other regions, but we did see baby Zebra and some beautiful bull buffalo. On the other hand, The river cruise was quite interesting as we saw a wide variety of birds and animals including elephant and hippos. The latter provided extra excitement as the river channel is quite narrow in spots and our guide had to be extra vigilant in order to avoid   them.

An intimate African Experience

We were not really happy with our stay. According to the price we expected more. All extras as excursion, water to be payed extra. Missing electricity, fan, air-condition (not one single bottle of water in the room), fridge, Wi-Fi should be compensated by little extras in service, atmosphere, and ambience. This was not the case. Location and food are ok, but infrastructure, facilities and furniture needs a brush-up.
