Daw Htay Hotel

Whilst located centrally in Yangon, this hotel is exceptionally clean and tidy. Hotel staff is very friendly and supportive. Breakfast was basic but fine. Located very centrally in China town. Summarised; This hotel is great to base yourself whilst visiting the chaotic and sometimes dirty city center.

Wonderful staying experience in Daw Htay Hotel

In the date of 14 April 2017 –Water Festival, we were quite appreciate of the owner and management team , they provided special help cooking noodles at their private kitchen for our dinner.  The restaurants or food shop were closed during Water Festival in Yangon, we had no way to get food at outside, really lucky they gave hand to us.  It was a wonderful experience we never have before, they were so kindness.

Our team stayed Daw Htay Hotel a couple of nights , our feeling very comfortable. 
Owner is very very nice , we recommend to live in Daw Htay due to the convenient location , efficiently WiFi Network, Room with large space , Clean and attractive Rate….. .

Make sure when we go to Yangon, we will stay again.

I recently spent 3 nights at this hotel. It was a good clean "Budget" hotel ideally located in downtown Yangon very close to Chinatown. We found our room to be both spacious and comfortable with a reliable AC system. The staff were friendly and obliging. B'fast was standard for a budget hotel. Wifi was ok. Nothing to complain about here!
If you like to get stuck into the local culture of downtowns street markets then this is a good place to base yourself. I would come back here to stay.

Clean and tidy with excellent service. Great value for money.

Good Clean Budget Hotel in Yangon

I think it's a 1 star or 2-star hotel. It's located in an alley close to the chinatown. 
The hotel looks old, but quite clean.
Check was a bit frustrating as language became an issue. However all staffs are polite and helpful.
Breakfast was okay for a budget hotel, and they also serve fresh fruit. 
However chinatown is practically silent in the evening. So if you want to explore their stores probably you should stay somewhere else...

Old Budget Hotel

I stayed here when I was in Yangon for 5 nights. I only stayed here 1 night and I had food poisoning, not from this hotel but earlier from a street vendor at the lake. This hotel is ok, a little outdated but its got that low budget asian feel to it. Everything was clean and the AC worked so no problems. Just not what most westerners would class as a nice modern hotel.
