Mingalarbar Hostel

I stayed on 7 and 12 oct ‘17. It’s average hostel for backpacker, cheap and free breakfast and water. But the location is great. You can walk to sule pagoda, bogyoke market, mall and for looking meal, Taxi 24hours in front of hostel. And it’s place to meet friends around the world. The lockers was big, so you can put anything, the wifi is good. And 2 man and the receptionist can speak english very well. And one of them it’s james, he is really the good person. Talkative, makes jokes, helpfully, really nice to meet him. If someday i will go to myannmar again, i think i will stay in here again. 

Decent pod-style hostel. Allows privacy when you want it but was also friendly and we met plenty of people. Pods come with light, plug socket and curtain - all you need! Be aware that the hostel is basically all one room so noise travels although the staff tend to ensure it is quiet at a certain time. 

Arriving in Myanmar and taking a look around, you can expect the average accommodation could be less clean and comfortable than other South Asia countries (don't get me wrong, I am loving Myanmar more than others), so this hostel is a surprise. Super nice staff at arrival, the main room has beds like a beehive, quiet and very clean, bathroom included. Near beds there is a couple of small tables for sharing words with others hosts and a small balcony at 9th floor, even if air con suggests to stay inside. I can only say good things, except the list of services supplied, which includes a bike rental but they had no idea how to get it, maybe because bikes are not allowed in downtown Yangon.

Great Location,Nice james 

Decent pods

Clean and comfortable 

nice and clean with very affordable price while you are on budget and alone. 
Included breakfast but better not expect a huge buffet. 
The place offer with the sleeping box with two storey building centrally situated in downtown, Pannsoedan Street,  5 mins walk form Yangon Circular train station and Sule Pagoda.

Budget Stay for backpacker

I stayed one night at the hostel, it was on a good location closed to the market and train station.i checked out in the morning. I have asked the reception to booked the bus to mandalay so I can leave me luggage until I leave. After I came back to get me luggage and it was broken, I have no apologies from the hostel and no explained what has happened to my luggage
