Riad Anabel

As a family we had the most wonderful stay at Riad Anabel. The location of the property is absolutely perfect, very near (5 mins walk) to areas such as Jemaa El Fnaa, Tinsmiths Square and Bahia Palace. Fouad and the team that operate the riad are lovely, welcoming and helpful people, it was truly a pleasure to meet them all. We booked the Rose room, which is the largest in the property - this was a great fit for a family of two young daughters (aged 7 and 11) and their parents. The beds were comfy, the decor of the room was fantastic (including photos of times gone past in Marrakech) and the shower was very refreshing. The place was spotlessly clean. It was easy to sleep, the temperature can be regulated with the air conditioning unit in the room, however much of the time the AC was not used, as the environment was cool enough. The room was serviced/cleaned every day by the very efficient team. Breakfast is included and is delicious and varied - a great combination of sweetness and savoury, including a freshly cooked egg dish served in a tagine. Lovely hot coffee and fresh orange juice always also! The servings are definitely enough to fill any person for the day ahead. Our daughters especially loved the ground floor refreshing pool - a great way to unwind and escape from the heat outdoors. What can at first seen like cold water is in fact perfectly temperate for the circumstances. There is a top floor outdoor terrace, which is a wonderful space to relax. On the ground floor there is an incredible TV room and other spaces to unwind. All decoration is fantastic. The riad arranged our transport from and back to the airport at our request and helped transport all our luggage also. We hope to visit Marrakech again in the not too distant future and if so will definitely look to stay at Riad Anabel. Thank you to Fouad and the team.
