TUI BLUE Medina Gardens – Adults Only – All Inclusive

Very quick through airport & leaving on the bus within 30 mins, very impressed with this hotel as soon as we walked in, we were led to seats with mint tea offered before being given our room allocation. The restaurant was left open for us to eat which was lovely after all the travelling On our first night we initially had problems with the air conditioning not working, it took 3 phone calls and 2 visits to reception and nothing was sorted. We spent our first full morning trying to sort it out & It took me eventually going to our tui rep who immediately jumped in and offered another room which we accepted, they were amazing both Abir & Zineb very patient with us. It wasn't fun having to repack and move everything but we were so grateful in having air conditioning the rest of the week. The hotel is absolutely stunning, we loved the gardens and spent most of our time there as it was slightly cooler that the main pool but we used both pools for swimming, no problems getting a sunbed at any time of day. Wifi very good - usually get an esim but wasn't needed this time We ate every day at the restaurant, food was nice and a good variety, our waiter yasine was very efficient and friendly, we really enjoyed getting to know him over the course of the week and nothing was too much trouble for him. We dont drink alcohol but soft drinks all from a bottle and quite lukewarm, a pump tap would've been much better for both staff and guests but we did get ice cold still & sparkling water from the machine. We did some of the classes with Laura, she is wonderful really put us at ease and was great with the classes. We had no plans to go to the medina square as we were honestly really anxious about it, she really encouraged us to go even just to walk around and gave us lots of tips and we ended up going, she needs a medal for that 😂 We also had a lovely massage, absolutely incredible experience. Overall this place is all about peace and tranquility with still lots going on, I've never been to the same place twice but I will definitely be returning here and recommending to other friends. Best holiday I've ever had ❤️ Some niggly bits The partition wall between the bedroom & shower needs more privacy, for those staying who are not couples it can be a bit awkward having to undress to get in the shower. Needs more hooks in the room as there was absolutely nowhere to hang any towels or anything. Mealtimes constantly having to ask for bowls and spoons as they are not on the table Shower tray needs some antislip on the gloss white tray so slippery
