Excellent
45 reviewsI've read quite a few good reviews on hostelworld about his hostel in Marrakech, so I decided to have a one night stay before I moved to hotels and resorts. Location is great, literally 2 minute walking to the main square, which ensures you fresh juice, local cuisine, amazing BBQ, handcrafts, basically everything you want to buy. However, it can be tricky to find the place without navigation. The hostel is nice and bright, really clean I must say. They change bedding sheet, pillows, linen, the toilet is really clean as well, which brings you fresh clean rooms. They've also got a cool rooftop to have a chat or a drink at, the cat of the owner is adorable yet grumpy as well. We didn't expect much from the included breakfast from a hostel, we were so wrong, food was nicely presented, which contained fruit, pancakes, Moroccan bread, juice, coffee/tea, eggs, jam and butter, we were WOW... The owner is really helpful and nice, easy to talk to. He could also help you to arrange some trips to desert or valleys, which come handy. The ironic hint is that I actually enjoyed my stay much more in this hostel rather than a so called four star hotel in Marrakech, I'd definitely be back here if I ever visit Marrakech again! Well done!
