Really nice facilities, lovely design touches, and the people working there was really friendly and helpful!

It’s was peaceful and the staff is excellent!!

The property is lovely and the staff is excellent.  Daniel and Betty are both personable, and helpful.Casa HX is a lovely and unique property with an interesting layout.  Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable.  It lives up to the pictures on the website.  Some minor repair work was needed in places, but these are smalls details.Commuting to and from the hotel was a small issue due to the distance from downtown.  To counter this, local taxis have a transparent rate structure which is affordable.  We also walked the distance (25 minutes) without feeling unsafe day or night.  I would suggest that you bring a flashlight.

We had 11 days in casa HX. We had an upgrade room it's was perfect and clean. The breakfast include was good. This is a relaxing hotel with good staff. Everyone was kind and helping ! Thanks again to Carla, Betty, Annie and Emmanuel for making our stay a perfect vacation!!!

The manager, Anaiza was truly amazing.. She was very helpful the four days we stayed there.. I gladly would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel..

Nice property and very friendly staff. The food was ok but a little overpriced. Poor infrastructure makes the location hard to get to and when it rains, you’re sort of stuck unless you want to trudge thru dozens of muddy foot deep mud puddles. Taxis charge a premium to service you out there which makes complete sense but makes excursions a bit pricey.

We had our baby moon here and it was perfect because it was quiet which is what we were looking for. The property was pretty and the vibe was perfect but the number one thing that made this hotel stand out was the staff. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. If I had to complain about one thing it would be that our AC was would drip from the condensation which wouldn’t matter except it was directly over the headboard so we’d feel a little droplet here and there nothing that stopped us from being able to sleep. It was great being so close to Punta Coco beach.

Annie at the reception is the sweetest!!! Since the first minute we got there till our last day she was taking care of us and making sure we were doing well.    She’s so professional and she has EXCELLENT customer service skills. Enrique at the breakfast area was also very professional and taking care of us making us feel very special guests. The property is away from the downtown area, but is very nice and the beach is walking distance. Also, you can walk to the beach at night to enjoy the bioluminescence experience without having to pay for the excursion, the hotel will provide you a headlamp to walk through the dark road but is safe since there’s a lot of tourist walking and groups that pay to go there. The rooms are nice, super clean and smell delicious! The food at the Phanter’s restaurant within the hotel is AMAZING!! And affordable$$! We fully recommend this property!! We will be back soon!!

It was absolutely beautiful and the service was amazing! Was able to communicate with staff via WhatsApp at literally any time during my stay. The plunge pool upgrade was so worth it especially after staying out in the town until after pool hours and being. able to come back late and swim at any time. Would 1000x go back. We went for a little weekend getaway without our 3yo so it being adults only was extra peaceful.

Well run hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. The pool is nice, food good and rooftop patio pretty cool.  A bit of a trek to get to town but if you’re looking to stay away from town (20-25 min while getting attacked by mosquitoes, or 200 pesos) and be near the chill beach of Playa Punta Cocos. If a quiet place to relax in Holbox is on your priority list, look no further. For more of an immersive Holbox experience, I would look for something closer to the central part of the island.

Amazing remote location. On the west end of island so ground level is sea level.Winds came up and flooded entire surrounding area. Tbe golf cart i rented was stranded and had to be towed out of the waterHotel is great. Very peaceful. Missing the small touches such as OJ with breakfast. The whole island has a millennial vibe as opposed to a gen x er like me. Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend though. A great adventure

Our experience in casa hx was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, and so was our room (we booked the suite with the private pool). Everything was great: the staff was friendly, the food was good, we really liked the vibe there. Although it is a little far from the center, it's close to the amazing punta coco beach and that's much better. We stayed for 3 nights on our honeymoon and loved it.

Wow!!

I had 6 nights in total on Holbox, of which my last 3 were spent at Casa HX, and my only regret is not having all 6 here! Whilst the location is a bit of a pain - its a good 20 minute taxi ride into town and can take about 30-60 minutes to get a taxi, the hotel more than makes up for it! I had a room with a sunbathing deck and private pool and it was perfect - i didn't leave the majority of the time i was staying here, except for dinner, despite the cloudy weather. I had dinner in the hotel one night and that was fantastic as well- was impressed by the quality of the food. They also allow you to have food delivered outside your room so i took breakfast on my private deck every morning which was so lovely. The staff were also lovely, especially the girl on the front desk. I honestly cant recommend this hotel enough - it was my favorite place in the 2.5 weeks i was in Mexico for, despite Holbox being my least favorite destination. I should also point out that i am a complete hotel snob so this is high praise coming from me! My only criticism is, like everywhere in Mexico, service is a little slow, and the bathroom floors get very slippery whilst wet, so would be worried if my parents stayed here for instance. Perfect for couples or solo travelers. Not ideal for people wanting to party every night in Holbox due to the distance from town. If you want to relax then book this place!

Fantastic Hotel - particularly if you're looking for a quiet stay away from town.  The facilities were clean and comfortable, and every single member of staff, from the chefs and servers to the front desk up to the owner and his wife were warm, welcoming, and did all they could to make my stay as comfortable and happy as possible.  Note that this property is a good 20-30 minute walk from town, but if you're looking for a serene oasis with friendly staff and great food on site, I can't recommend Casa HX highly enough.
