Set in the national park this hotel's location is amazing. Howler monkeys in the trees above our cabin made it one of our most memorable stays. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, pool is refreshing, staff are friendly and food is tastey.

We like the open air arrangements, the overall very welcoming atmosphere, the huge pool (we were observing howler monkeys in the trees while having a coctail in the pool after visiting the ruins- what else can you ask for?!?!?!?!), lovely staff members, good food, very friendly and knowledgable barkeeper, live music at night, etc.

I concur with all said previously: clean rooms, pleasant grounds, respectable restaurant. And it is very close to the ruins. We spent a total of four nights and used it as a base to go to Yuxchilan and Bonampak. Palenque of course. And then a day of just relaxing by the pool.

It's a 5-minute walk to Palenque musuem (highly recommend). And a 20-minute walk to the ruins via the back entrance. Go a little past the museum and enter on your left. A really nice walk through the forest and waterfalls to the main ruins.

Now this was our 3rd hotel on the tour and so far the best.  The room was still small but it had A/C and a fan to circulate the air.  The shower was by far the best up to now as it had good pressure and hot water was faster in comparison.  The restaurant was great as was the bar area.  We went to the pool and whilst cooling off saw wo Toucans and heard Howler Monkeys in the trees!  The monkeys noise at night is quite eerie but a great experience.  All part of the G adventures tour.

Loved my stay at Mayabell! Stayed here as part of a tour.  Lovely rooms, chill pool area and really neat to be staying in the protected park area close to Palenque site and walkable to museum (did not go into town but looked easy on collectivos).  Food and drink selection was awesome, food quality 👍🏻👍🏻, enjoyed the self service ordering system. Good wifi in reception area and pool. If your lucky you can sometime connect in room probably depending on location! Highly recommend for a getaway!

We had a lovely room on 2levels with en-suite & second toilet in reception room which also had a kitchen.The laundry service was very reasonable & the restaurant served a good menu.There was also a bar & water container to refill bottles.There was also a pool & facilities for camper vans It was a short ride to Palenque within the park & walking distance to the museum

Maya bell is a great place for anyone who would like to combine a visit to the wonderful archeological site of Palenque with a unique experience of staying over night in the jungle. 
I stayed for 2 nights in a newish double cabana with an air condition. With the high level of humidity this is a must in Palenque.
The bungalow had basic amenities – a comfortable bed and a basic shower bathroom combo. There are no screens on the windows, which are not sealed either, so bug repellant over night is recommended.
The room can also use a safe (to prevent cash and passport theft) and a basic small fridge to cool off water bottles. Please note, that the tap water are not drinkable nor can be used for teeth brushing. The hotel provides 2 small water bottle a day and you can purchase large ones at the restaurant. 
The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pool is great but need some maintenance and cleaning.
The hotel offers good a la carte breakfast for a reasonable price and great dinner and excellent pizza and burgers. Don’t skip the margaritas, they are awesome. 
All in all it is a great place to experience the jungle – you will see and hear howler monkeys, numerous birds and be close to the archeological site. Coupled with the great restaurant and attentive service, this hotel is highly recommended. 

About as close to the ruins as you can get. There are several thatched cabanas of varying size. My solo cabana was just the right size, including a small porch. In addition to the ceiling fan, they provided a floor fan, which I didn’t need. The restaurant was the highlight, both breakfast and dinners were wonderful. Didn’t use the pool, but it had been raining for days before, so I attributed its less than stellar appearance to that.

Great location for a few days of you are visiting the ruins of Palenque. Close enough to actually walk of you want! Great staff, very attentive and most are English speaking of you need help. Restaurant and bar area is very nice, menu has plenty of local choices and the pricing was moderate. You'll love the Howler Monkeys in the evening and morning! 

We had a great time staying at the Maya Bell. It’s in the heart of the jungle but offers an oasis of entertainment that includes live music in the evening, a swimming pool, bar and an excellent restaurant offering popular Western and Mexican dishes. I enjoyed some of the best Mexican food at this hotel. The guest rooms are quaint but air conditioned - an absolute necessity in the humidity of the jungle!

Jungle Living

great choice when visiting ruins

We stayed here as part of a g adventure trip. The hotel is right in the middle of the natural park/jungle with accompanying jungle things e.g. howler monkeys and other creatures close by as well as the jungle humidity. The rooms are just fine with hot water in most. The wifi is good in the restaurant. The food in the restaurant is good too. We were here for New Year’s Eve and had a lovely time with good Mexican music being played each night we were there. There is an enticing looking pool. 

In the jungle 

Stayed couple of nights but too busy visiting nearby jungle, Mayan archaeological site and must-see museum ( 5 mins walk away) to use the lovely looking swimming pool. Room in garden, simple and quiet ( save for some howler monkeys).Had excellent meals: breakfasts and dinners from large menu; good cocktails.... Lovely place for a break.

Lovely rural hotel

Jungle lodge style rooms were comfortable and clean with air conditioning. Wifi was not working when we visited but is normally available.
The restaurant served good food/breakfast and the early morning calls of the Howler Monkeys added to the atmosphere.
Close to the ruins which were well worth visiting.
