The Londoner Hotel Sliema

All of the staff were wonderful- so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The harbour promenade was great.

Room was a great size with a balcony overlooking where the island ferries moor. Shower was lovely. Bed was comfy but only skight gripe was only choice of harder or softer pillow. We could have done with one in-between,  but we still slept ok. Rooms were quiet despite building work going on nearby. Reception went above and beyond when i needed to get something printed off for an evening out. Breakfast was fine but my partner being short struggled to sit down as breakfasts are served next door in the Londoner pub which only had bar stools.

This was a great hotel in a perfect location; easy access to the ferry while next to the bars and restaurants.

This was our first visit to Malta and the Londoner Hotel perfectly matched our needs.  The location is very convenient for getting to Valletta on the ferry and for the various cruises and tours available around the islands.  The hotel itself is modern and clean.  We had a harbour view room which had a lovely view across to Valletta from the balcony (exactly as per the pictures on the hotel website - though it probably helped we had a room on the 12th floor).The area around the hotel has plenty of bars and Restaraunts.  Some can be a bit noisy but there are always alternatives.  Otherwise it’s easy to pop across to Valletta for the evening where there are plenty of options.  The Londoner itself has a bar and restaraunt which served decent food and drinks, as well as breakfast in the morning.All in all, the hotel was a great find and one we would use again if in Malta.

Either get a town facing room above 11yhj floor for an actual view or a harbour facing room. It’s very busy along the broad walk, so the higher up you are the better.Rooms are spacious and I would return

This hotel is in a great location in Sliema, the view from my room was fantastic overlooking the waterfront. Staff we lovely and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel

If you will stay at Salima it is a very central location with great view over the bay and towards Valetta. Room was modern and nice and clean. A lot of bars and restaurants outside which was convenient but also some natural noise and music from the same places. Good aircondition but was fully automated with sensors that you could not control so in order to turn off the aircondition you had to open the door to the terrace. Very nice breakfast buffet in the Londoner Pub with options to order additional selections. Overall good value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at The Londoner, it is in such a great location to travel to other places in Malta. The room was lovely, modern, clean and the seaview room had an exceptional view of Valletta both day and night. The staff were wonderful especially Ahmed & Marsia (not forgetting the hands on hotel manager who personally fixed our safe). They were always happy to greet us and help with anything needed. They are all a real credit to the hotel.

Staff were professional, pleasant and accomodating. The sea view room was clean, quiet and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. I also loved the pillow options. A definite future return for me. Thank you, Londoner, for a fabulous stay!

Excellent customer service with easy check in and check out options. Bedroom good size though a bit basic with amenities for example lacking in toiletries and hanging space in the bathroom. The fridge and complimentary water was much appreciated. Close proximity to transport links for buses and ferries. Great restaurant choice locations in walking distance. Breakfast had plenty of choice with a take out breakfast provided when we left the hotel very early on departure. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfectly located hotel for ferry trips/sightseeing tours, shops and restaurants. Excellent decor and comfortable suite. Brilliant air conditioning. Loved being able to sit on the balcony and take in the magnificent view from the fourteenth floor. Comfortable bed and spacious room, complete with fridge and effective sound proofing. Very attentive and helpful staff - from reception to the cleaners and restaurant staff. Great menu selection.

A great location for a few days of relaxing. We stayed in a junior suite overlooking the harbour. Great views! Lots of dining options within walking distance. Bed was super comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful. Easy access to the walkway on the harbour. Not as crowded as Valletta & St Julian’s, which we preferred.

The Sliema Londoner exceeded our expectations.   I cannot say enough nice things about the professionalism of the front desk staff.The proximity to ferry service, boat excursions, and food options was terrific.  When the hotel says 'breakfast included', they mean a full spread buffet plus the option to custom order egg preparations...and it is all good!  Our harbor view was so nice, that I use an image of it as my computer's background screen.

We requested and paid for a room with a view and we got a great view.  David at the front desk was frinedly and quick.Breakfast was unacceptable for the price paid for the room $170.  Coffee was undrinkable, coming out of an auful machine, although breakfast was offered at the hotel bar.  It is unacceptable for the price not to offer humanly brewed coffee.  Eggs and omellete were not freshly made.There is construction going on at the building next to the one next to the hotel.  Although not the hotel's fault, drilling started at 7 a.m. on a Monday morning.  David at the front desk was kind enough to offer a late checkout.
