Carini Farmhouses 

Having read the older reviews on here - its clear that the owners have taken on board the feedback. We stayed in farmhouse 2 - and there were 3 of us. We were met at the property, by the owner who showed us around. A welcome pack of water, bread, milk, ham, tea, coffee and basic condiments was provided - perfect. Kitchen also had spare bin bags, washing up liquid etc. Extra charge for AC was explained - and its roughly €1 runs 1 unit for 4 hrs. Knowing this, we were able to just use the AC in the bedrooms at night and it worked fine. It makes sense to charge for this - as different people will use more - and it could drive the price of the stay up. Handsoap was provided - but nothing else - but then I couldn't find in my booking where it was supposed to - and even then - I'd rather have my own. Its self catering - not a hotel. So that didnt bother me. Rooms were immaculately clean and a washing machine, iron are provided. The outside grill was great - very very clean. Sufficient plates/cutlery/cups and glasses. A tin opener and a bottle opener. Basic other utensils - but enough to achieve everything I needed to cook (a good cook can make do with very little - so again - no issue) A few tiles missing around the pool - but thats just wear and tear - and I've noted some people complaining about the dust on things... thats to be expected! Its hot and dusty on Gozo. Parking is private and secure - a bit tight - but once you get the hang of it - easy! We had a brilliant stay. The location is excellent, the facilities good. We rarely talk about return visits - but we would come back here.
