15 reviewsWe had extended 12 days stay here at Sunrise inn as a family of four. we loved every moment. The guest house is well maintained, clean, garden was full of vegetation with all kind of flowers and trees. The room was in good size with TV and clean Bathroom. there were semi private sitting area in the front and a private small back space. Breakfast was great (a bit repetitive but delicious ie. tuna chunks, sausages, eggs, toast, chapati bread, ), best part is tropical fruits and juices that is more than enough for breakfast. Excellent gesture from the host. The owner (Mr.Ali) helped us before we arrive and through out our stay. Unlimited free Coffee, teas, hot water. he even helped us out with our laundry :) There are some other Guest houses close to bikini beach but DO NOT WORRY about the distance, there is another beach very close to Sunrise inn.The island is small you don't even need to think about being closer to bikini beach as there are other beaches close by distance which is just about 300m or so. Great hospitality that's what you need to relax. ISLAND IS POPULAR WITH FARMING, GO BUY SOME FRESH FRUITS FROM THE OWNERS. One thing i can recommend is bring your Mosquito repellent which is an issue of whole island. Repellant is sold at local shops.

Transfer should be paid separately. The cost can range from USD 200.00 to 600.00. Transfer by ferry takes 4 hours and 30 minutes and is paid additionally. Departure from Malé City: Sunday, Monday and Thursday at 23:45. Departure from Thoddoo Island: Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday at 23:50. Transfer by Schedule Speed boat Direct to Thoddoo and Male is available everyday except Friday.
Departure from Malé City to Thoddoo Island at 11:00 AM and 15:00 PM. Departure from Thoddoo Island to Airport at 07:00 AM. Transfer by speedboat, connecting Boat to Rasdhoo to Thoddoo. Available every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Departure from Malé City to Thoddoo Island at 15:30 PM Departure from Thoddoo Island to Malé City at 07:00 AM.
Transfer by private speedboat hire: USD 585.00 one way; it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, for a maximum of 12 persons. All transfers are subject to weather conditions and prior confirmation is required. Guests must advise arrival and departure flight details at least 5 days prior to arrival.
For Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners, guests may be charged separately at the hotel. |
