Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa

My wife and I went on our honeymoon. We had the best week of our lives and I doubt we will ever stay in a better resort than this. I have traveled half the world and visited various hotels and resorts, but I have never experienced such service. The room was absolutely perfect, over 100 m2, with an outdoor shower and bathtub, an indoor shower and toilet, a comfortable bed overlooking the pool and ocean, a terrace, a private pool and part of the beach. The food in all the restaurants was phenomenal, as was the service. The all inclusive package includes various drinks and snacks in the mini bar, which we regularly used up and got new ones. In addition, we ate and drank a lot at the pool and in the restaurants and we were extremely satisfied and delighted with everything. Special thanks to our friend Latheef from the Aqua restaurant. I have to give a special mention to our beach villa host Nicole who organized our entire stay, booked restaurants for us (and changed reservations whenever we asked her to), accommodated all our requests almost instantly. She took our stay to a whole new level and was with us from the moment we stepped on the island to the moment we left. The entire island has a bare foot policy, which we really liked and we were barefoot the whole week. We enjoyed the peace and quiet throughout our stay. The atmosphere on the island is extremely relaxing. I only wore my sneakers for the padel tennis I played with the phenomenal and extremely nice and professional tennis coach Gautam. I absolutely recommend this resort, from the rooms, the layout of the entire island, the service, the food, the activities, the view, the cleanliness. We have not a single complaint, absolutely 10/10. Although the price is not low, I don't think we can find another place where we would pay less for what we got.
