Saii Lagoon Maldives & Hard Rock sessions/restaurant - An Incredible Stay All Around We had the most wonderful time at Saii Lagoon and Hard Rock Maldives, and honestly, every single staff member we interacted with made this trip memorable. Here’s a shoutout to the standouts: Several people truly elevated our stay. Hisham, was incredibly easy to talk to, hospitable, patient, and genuinely tries to understand what guests need. Top notch service. Sihpon, our buggy driver, was fantastic too, informative, easy to chat with, and just an all around friendly, respectful presence throughout our stay. The rest of the team was excellent as well: Haikal at reception was patient, kind, and quick to respond to anything we needed. Sandeep, who handled housekeeping for rooms 396 and 395, was meticulous and detail oriented, you could tell he genuinely cared about doing the job well. Layanta at the bar was friendly and accommodating, especially when we wanted to mix up our drink orders. Glenn was super friendly and informative, and made every interaction fun. And Ivan, our diving guide, was skilled, attentive, and patient with us in the water. Ibti was consistently helpful and cheery on top of that. The one area we’d flag is breakfast at Saii. They do offer an à la carte option, which was a nice touch, but the everyday spread felt a bit repetitive, so we ended up heading over to Hard Rock Sessions for breakfast instead most mornings. Hard Rock Cafe & Hard Rock Sessions This is where breakfast really shined. Hard Rock Sessions’ breakfast was a step above: a great selection, thoughtfully prepared, never dry or soggy, and they mixed things up regularly so it never felt repetitive. Big thanks to Anil and Chris, the cooks/chefs there, who were friendly and accommodating every morning. Over at Hard Rock Cafe, Jay gave phenomenal service, genuinely one of the friendliest people we met on the trip, and he made every visit to the cafe lively and fun. RJ was also friendly and informative during our visits. Overall, this was a seamless, joy filled stay thanks to a team that clearly takes pride in what they do. Highly recommend both properties!
