RIU Atoll All inclusive Hotel

Firstly if you are in any doubt about going to this hotel then let me reassure you that you will have a great time. From the beginning the staff cannot do enough for you , so smiley and kind they are very attentive and left a lovely arrangement on my bed on my birthday. The hotel is very clean, we stayed in a beach front room on the house reef side and it did not disappoint. The beach is white sand. The wildlife and snorkelling is next level. We saw sting rays, lots of colourful fish, sharks, and a turtle at the house reef. I would highly recommend buying full face snorkel masks though if you like that sort of thing. Be careful of all the hermit crabs as they are everywhere. If your going remember to leave them be and don’t take their shells home as you’ll be taking their home away from them. We went on the pedalos, kayaks and paddle boards , I would suggest checking the timetable for the paddle boards though as they sometimes have paddle yoga. The only thing I would say could use a bit of improvement if the food variety. We went to the Italian restaurant and the steak house both very nice but the buffet was very samey each night feels like it needs a bit more section but considering you’re on an island it’s ok. The entertainment again was ok , it’s a shame they didn’t do bingo and a few games in the evening as it was just singers and djs. We went out on the jet skis which was amazing! We saw dolphins and lots of wildlife, there is a spa and gym but we did not use these facilities. The gift shop is lovely and open till 9 in the evening but if your wanting a magnet or a bigger selection wait till you get to Male airport there is loads to choose from there. All in all this is a lovely hotel and you won’t be disappointed!
