Our family group stayed one weekday night on the way to one of the hotel's sister property by the beach. As such it was a very short, but excellent, stay. The hotel is located 15 minutes away by foot from the heart of Malacca's historical sights and traditional shops. On site there is a spa and we made use of the refreshing pool and had local-inspired cocktails in the evening in the residents' lounge. When making the reservation I had indicated that we had a very early start the next day. The hotel was very accommodating, offering to have our breakfast packed for the journey. It transpired that we could leave at 7.45am, so breakfast was laid out at 7am sharp with an assortment of fruits, pastries, drinks, followed by individually chosen dishes from their a la carte breakfast menu. The rooms are generously-sized with very comfortable bedding. This was a comment from every member of our family (we had 4 rooms). Overall this was an excellent stay and we would consider returning with other friends and family, as there is still a lot to see in Malacca. We had arrived on a Monday so some shops and restaurants were shut. We would use the spa next time as well.
