The communication of the owners is terrible. Booked a room from expedia platform a month and a half ago and they told us the week before that we can't book it for one night so we ended up without nothing. The owner is quite rude, tried to solve a problem by offering more expensive room, probably because right now they realized that other hotels prices gone up at this time of the year, so instead of actually trying to do better for clients that been here before, they just said that right now all the rooms are booked. The irresponsibility and the nerve of the owner is honestly unbereable.

Enjoyed my very brief stay at Columba Livia Gueshouse. Nothing fancy but if you just need a place to crash for a good price, this is a great option.

Nice Stay in Palanga

I had amazing stay in Columbalivia . First of all the guesthouse is located in incredible great location, everything was super close. I was able to reach the beach in 7 minutes by walking. Another thing that is worth mentioning is the cleanest of the place. The room we were staying was cleaned immaculately. I would definitely recommend it :)

Dovile

The apartments are really not big, but they're cozy and literate. The foyer is just fancy, with coffee, tea, candy and other tea-dinner attributes. The hosts are hospitable and generous.

We liked it.

I would like to note the very welcoming hosts of the house. They were always responsive, understanding and friendly. I recommend booking large rooms, because the two-seater standard is more for one tourist, the two are tight. But nevertheless everything is clean, comfortable, cozy! In the hall you can drink tea, coffee, there is a small porch. The sea is not far away. When we were going to ask to order a taxi, the driver turned out to be the father of the owner of the house. A very kind man who not only spoke nicely with us, but also sang us a fancy Russian song!

Guest house with comfortable rooms

The room on the four was less than expected, but it didn't particularly embarrass me and my friends. The room is located in two levels, the upper one on the mansard, where we were constantly accidentally banging our heads against the ceiling. Get out of bed - boom, climb up the stairs - boom) But the ceiling is not concrete, and the plasterboard one doesn't hurt so. The rooms are quiet, when the window is open, the noise of the sea is heard. It's showery, but you can open the window, in our case helped. There were no toiletries from the beginning, which were taken well. Breakfast wasn't included as warned, but at the lower level you can make yourself a cup of coffee or tea with beautiful furniture and decorations.

A cheap room with good furniture.

My husband and I stayed at this mini-hotel from May 22 to May 25, 2013. The hostess liked us very much. She offered us a different, more spacious room, because it was open for 3 days. And without any extra charge, which surprised us and delighted us at the same time. The room with an interesting decoration, the hall in the hotel is in the old style of the 19th century.

It's wonderful.

We have make reservation via booking.com. When we have come there at arranged time, there was nobody, who would wait for us. We called owner, which was "surprised" that we have come. She let us know, that there are no free rooms anymore. She suggested us alternative for the same price. Alternative guesthouse was further from seaside and older than this one. Because we have two little babies and it was high season we took. Unfortunatelly we found out, that we have shared toilet and bathroom with entire floor. Doors had glass and during night we woke up everytime when someone went to the bathroom. Our room was next to very traffic corridor, owner on begining promised us, that we are alone in the floor. So this was very disappointing for us. Treatment of guesthouse owners is simply not imaginable. Before we really liked Palanga, but now we will really think twice before we will go there.
