Douangdee

This hotel was easy to find, it's on the main road but wasn't too noisy. It's a bit far from the centre of town, you can walk it though, or get a Tuk-Tuk. Staff were very friendly and helpful with their limited English. Don't be fooled by all the credit card stickers on the front door, they claim their machine is broken, I don't think it's worked for a long time, so be prepared to pay cash, they accept Lao Kip, USD or Thai Baht. There was breakfast included, it's a typical Lao breakfast consisting of 2 fried eggs, bread, butter and jam, 'juice' and coffee. Room was nice and big with wardrobe to hang your clothes, air-con and fridge. Bed was comfortable in comparison to some we've had. Room was cleaned daily. Good WIFI and cable TV. We would stay again.
