Nice clean rooms. Fantastic food and probably the most helpful staff I have seen in Nairobi.Gets even better when you combine your stay with a visit to their sister restaurant- Tamasha ,on a sunday for the best food, ambience and cool jazz. Beautiful girls too...If you are in the mood for a small town feel the hotel has branch in Thika called December 12 Hotel where you get an even better deal..Few can beat this

I booked through a different hotel site, looking for a hotel near the city center. This was way out of town! I had informed the reception of a late arrival but was still surprised that I had to beg for a cup of coffee at 11pm. I was given half cup of milk, no water and two sachets of coffee powde. There is no desk/chair in the room so I spent two hours preparing for a meeting hunched over the bedside table. At midnight the rats started dancing in the ceiling. I slept very little. I had informed the reception that I would be leaving early and needed breakfast at six a.m. When I sat to breakfast they started looking for the key to the kitchen, offered me a teapot of milk and water, and disappeared. Twenty minutes, I asked them to warm the "tea" and bring the food. At six thirty I asked for a taxi and left without breakfast. The receptionist did not return my change from the night before and the owner stated that I was expecting too much for that price!
