Mara Explorers Camp & Backpackers

This is an awesome place from which to launch a safari. It’s in a great location within walking distance to the park and animals are often seen/heard wandering around the perimeter. The staff was attentive and friendly and the food was edible. I highly recommend booking your safari directly with the backpackers or its future iteration as the service and guiding was excellent. My safari guide, Mike, was awesome. He is extremely knowledgeable about the animals and their habits. I seriously doubt I would have seen nearly as many animals with another operator. Cant recommend this place enough
