We looked for ryokan stay in our budget, which was bit under everything we saw in Kinosaki Onsen. So I decided on this one and can’t express my graditude. We spend wonderful two days in this great place. Place is rather old, but clean. We probably got upgraded room, which is very nice - booked small room without bathroom, and in the end we had not only bathroom, but private garden - it seemed like they are giving best possible experience to the guest, not strictly “what guest paid for”. So if they had free better room, they moved us. So nice. Almost no one in this premise speaks English and we were prepared for this. But it went out they specially hired English speaking staff - girl was so lovely and she took care of us until we left. This is that kind of ryokan, where you eat in your room; staff come and prepare everything for you. Food was delicious and soooo generous! We’ve been off season, so couldn’t try their speciality - salt baked snow crab, but fish was also delicious. After dinner, staff prepared or beds and we want for evening walk in yukatas. Kinosaki Onsen is incredible place! There are seven hot springs and people try to bath in all of them. So if you are looking for place where they’ll treat you like king, and also is affordable, don’t look, you are here. Those two days was best part of our trip!
