Kinosaki Onsen Korakuen

The place is run by a few old ladies and an old man. They speak little to no english, but do their best to communicate. The staff was very polite. I booked this ryokan via the Kinosaki tourism website. It was about $500+ (including breakfast and dinner, and a pass to all the onsens in the area) for my partner and I. The rooms are traditional Japanese rooms, with only a toilet with bidet, and no bath, as the baths are shared. Check-in time was rather late, 3pm, but they allowed for baggage storage at the place while you go walk around. Upon checking in, you can immediately choose your meal times and private onsen times. However, you cannot choose which of the 2 private onsens they provide. The meals were really good and filling. There is a lot of food, definitely worth whatever price it is. However, this isn’t the ritz, and if you would want a more luxurious stay, there are other ryokans there with better location, at a much more premium price.
