AC Hotel by Marriott Tokyo Ginza

We picked this property over another Marriott next door because of the large windows. We couldn’t be more pleased we made this our base for our 5-day stay. The large windows allowed for more natural light. The bathroom has ceiling-mounted rainfall shower head. We were assigned a King Prime Superior room, and the boys a Twin Prime Superior. There’s a tub in their bathroom, but not in ours,(just in case this matters to some). The property has a rooftop that’s thankfully open to all guests, regardless of age. There’s plenty of space and seating to lounge around. The soft products include standard ones, plus hairbrush and hairband, slippers that get replaced every other day, robes, and a clothes steamer. The towels are a little flimsy though. Housekeeping does a stellar job in tidying up the rooms. Breakfast was unimpressive. Chuo Dori is a short 5-minute walk. Ginza Station, a 7-minute walk. Donki is less than 10 minutes away. Plenty of dining options in the area. Cab fare from the hotel to Tokyo Station is anywhere from 1200 to 1800 yen, and cabs are always available in front of the hotel. Imperial Palace is also within walking distance, but the Kikyo-mon gate is on the other side, so a cab is not unreasonable in the summer.
