This was the perfect place for me to stay during my first week in Tokyo. I wanted to ease my way into the subway system and this hotel is quite literally across the street. Not to mention, there are multiple convenient stores less than a 4 min walk away. It’s also just a short train ride away from Shinjuku Station. If you’re flying in from Narita Airport (NRT) it is about an hour train ride away, but I wouldn’t let that deter you! It was my first time in Tokyo and my first time taking a subway and I was able to manage it just fine (in the middle of the night, might I add). You’ll take the KS Line (Blue) directly from the airport to Nippori Station, where you’ll then transfer to the JY Line (Green) and ride it to Ōtsuka Station. (Which is directly outside the hotel.)My room was very clean and my overall stay was very positive. I will almost certainly be returning to this location.
