I love this hotel. Although not shiny, new and spotless, it is clean and fun. The decor probably dates from the 60s or 70s, which is the era of Japan that interests me. If you are an American chain hotel type, you should probably look elsewhere. But if you like a room that greets you with commercial-free J-pop when you put the card key in the electricity switch, an all mod cons bed console, aqua toned towels that proudly exclaim "OLYMPIC INN", matched bedding, a very comfortable bed, a generous Japanese breakfast buffet with shou tsubu natto, classic FURONTO no hito, then I can happily recommend this establishment to you. The location is a bit of a hike from Shibuya, but I'm quite happy walking in Tokyo, so this wasn't a problem for me. The only thing I might add is that the hotel supplied map (on their website or Rakuten) is a bit inscrutable. I would advise using Google maps.
