Two blocks from Kameido Station. Lots of little restaurants serving noodles, sushi, etc nearby. 7-eleven across the street for atm. Pharmacy, grocery, dollar store nearby. Not really in a shopping area. Entrance off the alley around the corner from the main street. Rooms are tiny, but very clean. TV, free wifi, lots of nice creams, shampoo, etc. staff is friendly and can speak some English. Breakfast is a nice buffet with Japanese and western food. It is not too far from the Imperial palace. Walking distance to a beautiful Shinto shrine. It is about a 20 minute train ride to central Tokyo. Not much night life nearby (I didn't care), but easy to get to if you want it.
