stayed at Hibiscus in April 2019. we took the traditional Okinawan room, which has tatami mattress and designed in a japanese vintage style. room was amazing and spacious, with view to the garden. the guest house itself was very clean and nice. big common kitchen, shared toilet and bathroom that were always super clean. location is great, basically walking distance to some beautiful beaches and Nakijin castle. next to the guest house there is an izakaya so you dont need to walk far when you are back from a day at the beach. the owners, Orie and Ryo, are SUPER nice and friendly, really helped us with all of our questions, and went out of their way to make sure we are getting around. Ryo also does sap (kind of a surfboard..) lessons. highly recommended experience, especially with the beautiful beaches of Nakijin, recommended!
