Kumamoto Capsule Hotel - Hostel, Caters to Men

I did my first ever sleepover in Japan and this Capsule hotel. I didn't expect much but got surprised of how much you can get for less. Respect to manager and his girl for having to deal with me and my bumbling manner. I learned a lot from you. Shoes & umbrella. :) Even than staff didn't speak English we found common language and everything just flowed. Such a pleasant staff, so polite. Pods were awesome equipped with TV, alarm radio and a lamp. No power outlet. That would have been good. At least one outlet in pod. Inside of pods were coated in plastic. It made the pod really warm an sweaty. Ventilation fan was loud but I were tired so I had my best sleep here. Pillow was awesome for a guy who isn't accustomed to rice or pea filled pillows. Nice bathroom with a cold and warm pool. Lots of sit-down showers. Typical Japanese. I like very much. Location is in a parking garage but hotel is well insulated and cars didn't bother at all. Breakfeast was included in price. Boiled egg, salad, bread & jam. That came as a surprise. I didn't know it was included in price. Manager showed me to Kumamotos best Ramen place when I said I was hungry. Thank you for that !! Because of price (less than 1500 ¥) there isn't so much to complain about. It was one of my best and most autentical sleepovers. I will come back here if I ever is near again. A little surprised there is smoking allowed in hotel Lobby.
