This was the 2nd time back at Red Door Lodge for me, and as always Nicola, Alex and James make you feel right at home. From picking us up from the station, answering questions about the best way to get to the lodge (from the airport), getting us a great deal on snowboard+gear hire, to food and onsen recommendations. Room was warm and cosy (of course, it's Japan!) with a private bathroom, all very clean, and beds were comfortable. Breakfast daily is warming and delicious, highly recommend the cheesy omelette. They also help with booking lessons, and local restaurant hotspots.
