Located in a pretty side street just 5 minutes walk from Yudanaka station; convenient for buses to snow monkeys, Shiga Kogen and Ryoo ski fields. Large traditional style rooms with balconies- bathrooms are VERY Japanese with no toiletries so and we found the on site Onsen to be far more pleasant for bathing. Staff speak absolutely no English but are very friendly so you can manage. Building is a bit tired but the price is good so I'd be happy to stay again. WARNING no credit cards so plan ahead as their are few ATMs and they only dispense 50000 yen per day.
