Villa Sake

I’v stayed at Sake 4 times - and I’m never left disappointed - I cannot wait to return. Nope, it’s definitely not suited for those looking for western-style luxury; no ac (but always a fan), no hot water (but goodness, it’s Jamaica - a cool shower after a long day is welcome), and yeah - you might see a salamander or beetle in your room, but no infestations. They offer rustic relaxation that is comfortable and safe. Sake has a special kind of rustic beauty that leaves me wanting more - sunrises and sunsets to die for: kitchens equipped for cooking meals; amazing swimming and snorkeling; beautiful gardens and trees; and as much privacy as you wish for. The people who work there are kind, and fun to be around. Sake is a 15 minute drive to Ochorios and 8 minute drive to Orcabessa, where you will find anything you could need (Gas, groceries, restaurants, bank machines, etc.). The price cannot be beat - 20-50 bucks per night. The wildlife is great - I’ve come across mantarays, starfish, tropical fish, among other sea creatures in my time snorkelling there. I love this place, and cannot wait to return.
