Bed and Breakfast Happiness 

We booked this last October with a good score on Bookings.Com. However, after reading some of the reviews on TripAdvisor, we started to think what have we done. Complaints about not being able to find it, no hot water, no food, no towels etc etc. We have just returned today after three excellent nights there. I feel that for the money this offers excellent value for money, and for what we paid I am surprised it included breaksfast. To start. Due to a bus being directly outside the airport we got their in 45 minutes max. As you come through the gate into the airport, there is a tourist information point directly in front of you. They sell the bus tickets at 6 euros each, and more importantly will give you a map. The bus stop is about 40 footsteps away. The bus takes approximately 20 minutes and drops you outside the Porto Nuova Train station. With that at your back, walk to the right and make sure you cross the canal/river which runs under the pathway. There is then a sign for the Arena. cross the road there and you will see the Porta Nuova (a single story Roman looking building) .walk past the side of that and you are in the Corso Puerto Nuova. 10-15 minutes slow walk and the accommodation is in the right turn by the 'Farmacia' which has a green sign above the shop on the corner of the building The double arch is in front of you on the Corso Puerto Nuova and there is a McDonalds just past the turn off on the opposite side of the road. As you enter the road (there is also a big parking sign for the Piazza Citadella) the door to the Bed and Breakfast is parallel to the entrance to the underground car park. Yes it is above a bank and the sign is one of many on a doorway It is basically a large three bed flat. There are two rooms with a shared bathroom and one with an on suite and a balcony (which we had) The owners come and leave the buffet breakfast the night before (No food ?.it may be that someone came back slightly drunk and took it ?) We rang the number and Sandy came and met us very quickly. She was very helpful and over the course of three days helped us access the Wi-Fi, provided us with a phone charger (after we had taken an American one) and most helpful of all allowed us to leave our bags for a few hours today as we had an afternoon flight. Thank You ! The location is literally four minutes walk from the Piazza Bra and the Arena.-so perfect ! There was a pop concert there last night which we could here from the flat -which Bob Dylan playing their on Friday night The breakfast is not huge and if someone was greedy with the milk (for example) it could leave other guests hungry. I read in one review there was no hot water for breakfast. Whilst we were there another couple couldn't work it -not could we initially. Push the horizontal red lever towards the machine before you turn the lever downwards to pour the hot water -Hopefully this will make sense when you come to use it. The shower in the room was small but so what. So was the price we paid The bed was extremely comfortable and other than hearing someone else come in on the first night there were no travelling noises from other rooms For the money I would absolutely recommend it
