This 900-year-old landmark property is comprised of a series of restored monastery buildings, as well as a 12th-century chapel, and nearly 15 acres of ancient gardens, courtyards, and terraces.
The hotel features three bars and three restaurants, including a signature restaurant with terraces overlooking the lagoon.
San Clemente Palace Kempinski Venice also features Europe’s Best Hotel Spa 2019 award winner Merchant of Venice SPA. The unique spa experience offers a couples suite, and wet area with sauna, steam bath and showers, together with a hair salon.

Additional information
In accordance with the Institutional Regulations and the rules governing the fee for access, with or without a shuttle service, in Venice and the small islands of the Venetian Lagoon, an additional fee is charged to day-trippers who do not stay overnight and plan to visit the historic city centre from Friday to Sunday or on public holidays, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The fee will be from EUR 5.00 to 10.00 per day, depending on the date of booking. After payment, tourists must have a confirmation. Exempt from this fee are children under 14; residents of Venice and the Veneto region; people working or studying in Venice. Guests staying overnight are also exempt from this fee and must pay the city tax at the accommodation facilities. A cleaning tax is not included in the reservation price and is payable separately at the hotel.
Mandatory gala dinner fees may apply at Italy hotels. Guests should contact the hotel directly for more information. The front desk is open until 00:00. A tax is imposed by the city and will be collected at the property. This tax does not apply to residents of Venice City and children under 10 years of age. Further exemptions may apply to patients and their companions, and people staying in the city for specific purposes/duties, subject to the submission of proper documents to the property. A 30 per cent reduction applies from 1 to 31 January.
