We stayed 10 nights at the end of September and beginning of October 2023. This is the second year in a row that we come to the five stars Due Lune hotel. We usually prefer to change place at each vacation in order to explore new spots; this time however we wanted to come back because the place is special. Five stars for us means the hotel is one of few places in our personal short list that we want to visit again. Several things make the place out of the ordinary: the harmony of the gently descending grassy slope opening on the secluded beach, the airy patio where one easily forgets time while contemplating the vista, the looming presence of the Tavolara island in the horizon, the architectural design of the hotel, the general kind and relaxing atmosphere, and last but not least the gentle, professional and attentionate management and staff. On the practical side, the hotel is very comfortable, well located in the San Teodoro area. It is a very good place to go around to nearby beaches and villages. The hotel beach itself is very nice, very relaxing, as well as a good departure point for longer swims. For sure we would like to visit the Due Lune again. (We also wrote an opinion on the Due Lune in October 2022 that still holds.)

At the resort
