We loved this rural family-run hotel where staff couldn't do enough for us. Delicious and plentiful breakfast included (but read the notice about extras on the table so you know). Comfortable and spacious en suite room with aircon and windows well covered with anti-mosquito netting. Hotel also provides an anti-mosquito gadget for the room, which helped. We'd have made good use of a car but didn't have one and we coped. Beach about 20 mins walk down the road, and two good restaurants nearby: one right across the road and another 15 or so mins walk away. Just a few comments and recommendations: one is that the wifi rarely worked for us in the bedroom. Fine everywhere else and as I had some work to do, I went to the top of the stairs where it kicked in. I believe that the owner is trying hard to rectify this. Pillows could be better but to be fair I am very fussy about pillows. Our room did not have blackout curtains which I thought would bother me, but it didn't really. Efficient and silent aircon. Being lent a beach umbrella and beach mat saved us a lot of money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel and the prices are so reasonable.
